From Rock Bottom to Empowering 25,000+ Lives

It started with a crisis. My mental health hit rock bottom. I felt lost, disconnected + completely mindless—living on autopilot without purpose or direction. I tried everything to pull myself out: therapy, counselling, medication. Nothing seemed to work.

Then I found journaling. At first, it was just a way to process my thoughts. But the more I wrote, the more I began to see patterns. I realised how disconnected I'd become from the person I wanted to be. I was living mindlessly—and I wanted to change that.

I turned my journal into a blog. I started writing publicly about becoming a better version of myself—about self-awareness, growth, purpose + what it means to live intentionally. To my surprise, it resonated. People from around the world joined the conversation, sharing their own journeys of transformation.

The blog became Mindless Mag. We evolved into a community of storytellers covering monthly themes that matter: feminism, body image, sustainability, mental health + social justice. We gave voice to the issues our generation cares about—and built a global audience in the process.

Then the pandemic hit. Suddenly, traditional work experience collapsed. Students were locked out of opportunities. The system was broken—inaccessible, outdated + inequitable. I saw an opportunity to reimagine it entirely.

That's when Mindless Academy was born. We set out to create something different: virtual work experience that's accessible, purposeful + anchored in real-world impact. We combined the personal growth I'd discovered through my own journey with the professional skills + experience young people need to thrive.

Today, we've empowered 25,000+ learners, partnered with 20+ universities + 250+ employers, and created 500+ Global Impact Challenges aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

But this is still an organic journey. It started with unlocking my own potential. Now, we're helping others do the same—one learner, one challenge, one transformation at a time.
